HAUTLIEU ART STUDENTS SHOWCASE THEIR CREATIVE TALENT ON THE COMMUNITY UNDERPASS MURAL PROJECT
Project Co-ordinator and former Hautlieu Art teacher Bryony Rive said: “We have had some really positive feedback from members of the public, not just whilst we were working in there, but I’ve had a number of people pop into the office to find out more about it. Everyone has commented on how bright and fun it is, how it has improved their walks to town. One lady commented that she loves seeing something new every time she walks through.
I also wanted to say that your students are a credit to you and your school – every student was focused, so polite and worked so hard, it was brilliant to have them involved.
We have plans to do the curve wall leading into the underpass with Youth Arts, later in 2025 (when it is warmer!). We will also be putting up signage to celebrate everyone involved. Once again, thank you for all of your support”
You can visit the mural for yourself which is located in the Esplanade Underpass or read more about the project here.
