Meet the Head Team!!

Head Students

Diogo Nobrega

I want to bring my leadership skills, dedication and positive attitude to the team.

Hautlieu is important to me as it has played a significant role in shaping my academic journey providing me with lots of opportunities for growth where I’ve built friendships, developed further my skills, and created lasting memories. 

Ella Wright

I want to bring my approachable, friendly personality and confidence to make sure that everyone feels like they have a voice in our community to allow growth in our academic success.

Hautlieu has enabled me to gain a higher self-esteem and a more dedicated path for me post A – Levels, which has really helped with setting goals and gaining achievements.

 I want to apply my disciplined and hard-working attitude, bringing a voice and view to areas outside of academics, aiding the growth of the Hautlieu community. 

Hautlieu has given me the opportunity to study the subjects I want and need to achieve my aspirations, whilst also enabling me to expand my social circle and meet people I probably never would have otherwise.

What I want to bring to the team is knowledge of how to balance studying and maintaining a sporting career. And transferring skills such as team building from a sports point of view into school life. As well as inspiring others to take up new sports as extracurricular activity’s.

Hautlieu has given me the opportunity to study the subjects I want and need to achieve my aspirations, whilst also enabling me to expand my social circle and meet people I probably never would have otherwise.

I want to highlight the importance of commitment within a sporting environment and showing the benefits of participating in Hautlieu’s sport programme.  

Hautlieu has enabled me meet many new people I have never met before, who share a common interests as I do. Sport at Hautlieu is also highly competitive, making it a challenging and fun environment to be involved in. 

Communication leads

Ben Collier

Hey, I’m Ben and one of the two communication leaders at Hautlieu. What I want to bring to Hautlieu is an equal chance for clubs, events, and other creative work to be advertised, recognised and praised for their efforts. I want to help reinforce the community at Hautlieu, and create new innovative ways for that to happen. 

Hautlieu is tremendously important to me, it has given me countless opportunities to grow as a person. I find that Hautlieu is a place for everyone, helping nurture all types of people, and celebrating what makes us different, which is what makes it so special to me. 

Sammy Piskorz

Hey! I’m Samuel Piskorz and I am one of two Communications Leaders in Hautlieu. As a leader of Communications, I want to innovate and revolutionise how we communicate information across the school, among students as well as teachers. With the assistance of fellow teachers and student leaders, I aim to create a system where information can be shared at maximum efficiency with minimum misunderstandings.

Hautlieu is special to me because, if you think about it, it is like a second home. I think I speak for everyone when I say that when you aren’t at home, chances are you are at school, so, just like at home, I want to make Hautlieu.

Hautlieu is special to me because it has helped me grow not only academically but it has prepared me for challenges beyond college.

As head of clubs and societies I would like to bring integrity and resilience to the leadership team, create fun engaging clubs and also bring academic clubs that can support students in the studies to help them become the best they can be. 

Hautlieu holds a special place in my heart as my family has been schooled there for generations and has enabled me to be myself whilst completing my secondary education. 

Cultural Lead

Kelly Martins

As the Head of Culture on Hautlieu’s school head team, I bring a unique set of roles and responsibilities that enrich the cultural diversity of our schools community. I will take on Cultural Coordination as I will organize and oversee cultural events, festivals and celebrations by incorporating these into our daily school life by involving the canteen and students across the school.  

Hautlieu provides me with the knowledge and skills necessary for my future academic and career aspirations. Hautlieu also offers me a structured environment for learning and intellectual growth in order to give me independence.

I want to bring my collaboration and communication skills to the team, as I believe that these will improve our teamwork which will make Hautlieu an even better environment for everybody.  

Hautlieu has played a significant role in my academic journey. It has opened a lot of doors for me and my peers through the endless opportunities that have been presented to us. I think it’s a school that promotes growth within students and also a school where students can learn as well as have an amazing experience overall.

What I bring to the team is the desire for making the student body the best it can be and to celebrate what makes each of us unique. I hope that my drive and creativity will encourage other students to discover that their skills at home are not independent to those in school.

I think that Hautlieu is special to me because of the opportunities present to nurture our passions, whether that be sports day, the student council, or other extracurricular activities. These opportunities are crucial in supporting the school community.
